Skippy has a very snazzy WordPress Database Backup plugin. I just loaded it up on mine and it works fine (1&1 hosting). This is really nice for me. Previously I had to login to my hosting account, go to the mysql admin, then run a backup on the tables. Now I can schedule backups, and can even get it to email the gziped sql to me. So swassy. Update: This plugin is now part of wordpress v2
