Hastert to block 9/11 commission extension. Rice, Bush, and Cheney declined a request to testify. I’m not exactly sure how Bush can say he is giving the commission his full support.
Update: Looks like Hastert changed his tune after John McCain and Joe Lieberman launched a bipartisan effort Friday to force House Republicans to extend the deadline.
