Photos of Yukon and Alaska I’ve finally gotten around to posting photos from our trip through Haines, Skagway, and Whitehorse in June/July. It was unseasonably cold, even for the north, but that didn’t detract from the gorgeous scenery.

Our trip to Washington, DC
Photos of our trip to Washington, DC I took the opportunity to visit a good friend and explore our nation’s capitol for the first time in late April. We missed the cherry blossoms, but new spring growth made for a nice visit.
Yountville and Napa Valley
Photos of Yountville and Napa Valley Anna and I had a lovely visit to Napa Valley in late March. It rained for a good part of the visit, but spring was definitely in full swing. I especially enjoyed our visits to Schramsberg, Frog’s Leap, and The Terraces wineries.
Borrego Springs Wildflowers
I’m slacking on posting – these photos were taken almost a month ago. If you haven’t experienced it, a trip out to the desert during the spring blooms is well worth it.
Cedar Creek Falls hike
Photos of the Cedar Creek Falls hike Your knees take a beating on the way there, your thighs on the climb back, but the Cedar Creek Falls hike (aka Devil’s Punchbowl) is lush and gorgeous this time of year. Bring water and expect to spend around 3 hours.
