Chicano Perk

Wow. Stumbled on a great little cafe near Imperial on 25th called Chicano Perk. Apparently I am out of the know, because they were having their 1 year anniversary today. Very nice place, awesome patio (lots of plants, flowers, butterflies), and great chai (and coffee according to Anna). I will be returning.

It was a beautiful day.. but then the fog rolled in. Wait, fog doesn’t smell like smoke. Well, we are getting smoked from fires in Tecate. Hack, weeze.

Toxic kitty dust

There is a feral cat that hangs out in the courtyard of my building. This morning I walked outside to see him sharpening his claws on some furniture someone had left outside. Even the wild cats like a good chair scratch.

Interest rates are going up.

You know that dust on your computer? Well, its toxic.

Something that might make part of your computer dust, Deca-BDE, has been detected for the first time in polar bears and glaucous gulls in the Arctic. Nice.

TechBuyersDirect.com

Don’t ever buy anything from TechBuyersDirect.com. It seems that they are the latest in a string of less than honest online stores. After you buy something (assuming you actually get your order) you are charged 5$ a month to ‘subscribe’ to thier site. Uhg.

But here is the best part; I’ve never even bought anything from them. But it looks like they are using my information from purchase I made at etechwarehouse.com over a year ago. Lovely.
